Saturday Morning Fun

Saturday morning Naomi's cousins, Jessie and Riley, were making Texas sheet cake. Naomi wanted to help so they put her in a booster seat and pulled her up to the counter. They gave Naomi her own measuring cups and a spoon and Naomi pretended that she was helping them . It was so cute. She acted like she was putting ingredients into her container, and then she'd stir it and taste it to make sure it was okay. Naomi is so funny.

Naomi's finished masterpiece

So here is a picture of the beautiful unicorn Naomi painted. After we gave it to her she held it and cradled it like it was her baby for a couple hours, it was really funny.

Naomi's first prayer

Tonight before dinner, we asked Naomi if she wanted to say the prayer. She shook her head yes, so I helped her. She repeated about every other word I said, but it was so sweet. It almost brought me tears. I guess I am doing something right.

My Little Picasso

I know I have a lot of new posts, but I'm trying to catch up.

So this morning we went to As You Wish which is like Color Me Mine. Naomi painted a little unicorn figurine, she had so much fun. She was very focused while she was painting. Aunt Sondra was helping her paint, and she got bored with her unicorn and started painting Aunt Sondra's hand. Here are a couple pictures of Naomi painting. In a few days when we pick up her unicorn, we'll show you the finished product.

Naomi's favorite thing to do at her Cousin's house

I think Naomi likes Arizona since we can go outside everyday. She loves playing with her cousins, especially on their trampoline. It's the first thing she heads for when we go outside. She loves it, and I love the way her hair looks while she's jumping. She'll even play "dead man" with her cousins. She lays down on the tramp, closes her eyes, and then gets up after they count to five, but she doesn't quite understand that she needs to tag someone. Oh well, she'll learn.

Last night in Utah

Our last night in Utah was spent eating steak with my family and my best friend coming over to play games and say good bye. We rocked out on Rock Band and then took some pictures before they left. We miss everyone back in Utah.

Happy New Year!

This year is a big year for us. We're done with school and moving on to bigger and better things. We're so thankful for all the experiences we went through last year and we're ready for new experiences. We are starting a new chapter in our life, by moving to Arizona. We are very excited, but sad to be leaving our friends and family in Utah.

We spent New Year's eve with friends in Springville. We ate really good food, played really fun games, and watched the ball drop for the New Year. Cory was my new year's kiss, and to follow tradition Caleb was Naomi's first kiss of the new year. Of course she was asleep, but she woke up to give him some love. Here are a few pictures from our party.

Then New Year's day Hope and Brett took us shooting, us includes Brad too. Grandma and Grandpa watched Naomi. Cody, Krista, Jason, and Sarah met us there. It was a lot of fun. I hit two clay pigeons and Cory did really well (I didn't count, but he hit a lot). Here are a couple pictures from shooting.

Fun in the Snow

Naomi loves walking around in the snow. I'd say "play" but she likes to just walk around and not touch it with her hands. She does like to help me shovel grandma and grandpa's driveway (too bad I don't have pictures of that). But here is a picture I do have from one of our snow days. Too bad Brinley, Maddie, Elise, and Cassie couldn't come play.

Christmas in Colorado

As soon as we got home from our cruise, we did laundry and repacked so that we could leave for Colorado the next day. And this time Naomi came with us. It snowed a lot and was cold, but we had a lot of fun. All of Cory's family was able to be there for Christmas. Naomi had fun with all her cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents. Here are some of the pictures we took.

Naomi had fun opening presents and she took a break to play with her gifts each time.

Cruise to Cabo

To celebrate our graduation, we decided to go on a cruise without Naomi. It was so much fun! We enjoyed the food, the entertainment, and the sun. Here are some pictures from our trip.
