Easter and Belly Shot

We had a fun Easter this year! We started off the festivities the Thursday before. Karen and Caleb came over in the afternoon to have a little egg hunt and dye eggs. The kids had fun with the egg hunt, which was in our front yard because there are more places to hide eggs. Then when they found all the eggs they came in and checked out their loot then we dyed eggs with a kit that Karen brought. I think one of their favorite parts of dyeing the eggs was putting the sticker faces on. They also enjoyed the story of Humpty Dumpty. Thanks for the fun Karen and Caleb!

(The smashed egg is Humpty Dumpty, and the eggs Naomi dyed she called the Humpty Dumpty Family)

On Saturday morning we went over to my Sister-in-law's, Amy, parents' house for an Easter egg hunt and breakfast. Sadly my camera batteries died so I only got a couple pictures, but Naomi and all of the other kids had fun. Then we had a delicious breakfast of French Toast, sausage, and fruit. Yummy!

(Naomi found lots of eggs, the picture of the right is right before we set them loose)

Sunday, Naomi woke up and was so excited to see what they Easter bunny brought. She got coloring books, a play doh set, chalk, and her favorite, chocolate eggs. She was most excited about the chocolate eggs. After church, we went over to Cory's mom's house for dinner. There was quite the crowd there. And the food was delicious! There were other little kids there too and the grandmas set up another Easter egg hunt, which the kids loved.

All in all, we had a great Easter!

Now for the belly shot. Here I am at 28 weeks.

Belly Shot at 25 weeks and 4 days

I haven't taken very many pictures lately and I have been sick a lot so that is why my posts have been sparse lately. The other night I think I had food poisoning, which I think is pure torture for a pregnant woman. Anyway, here is a belly shot.

I know it's not the best picture ever. Jaxon is pretty active now, not quite as much as Naomi was. Cory has finally got to feel him. (Naomi felt him twice before Cory felt him once.)

It was also that time during pregnancy where I needed some kind of change (those who have been pregnant know what I'm talking about). So I decided to go dark. I really like it!! And I'm glad I didn't chop my hair which is what I did when I was pregnant with Naomi. Naomi was so sweet, she told me it was pretty and that she wanted to go dark too. I of course told her not until she was lots bigger. But it was sweet of her to want to be like her momma.

Naomi's Birthday

My baby (she reminds me that she's not a baby) turned 4 last week. I can't believe it. She's grown up so much.

So this year for her birthday party we had it at her cousin's house with the family. She wanted a Tangled party. So I made Pascal cupcakes, played "Pin the Frying Pan on Flynn Rider's Nose", and had a Maximus pinata (it was really a unicorn pinata but I cut off the horn). She had so much fun!!!

On the day of Naomi's birthday we had fun! She painted her own nails, went and got Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, played with the toys she got for her birthday, watched Strawberry Shortcake (a movie she bought with some of her birthday money, watched Tangled, played soccer with Daddy, and had a donut for dessert with candles on it. We had lots of fun! I can't believe she's already 4.

Caleb's Birthday and Quilter's Visiting

Sadly I forgot to get my camera out and take pictures while my best friend and her family were visiting but we had lots of fun! The Saturday they were here Kelly took her husband out for the afternoon, so I took her adorable girls Faith and Kira with Naomi and me to Caleb Collinwood's birthday party. Her some fun pictures from the party. Karen, my good friend and Caleb's mommy, did an awesome job on his party. The pictures don't do it justice. It was a dragon master training party. They got swords, shot water at dragons, colored pictures, decorated cookies, shot snakes at dragons, and more. The girls had so much.

The cute sleeping girl on the couch is Kira, she slept the entire party.

We had so much fun hanging out with the Quilter's, we love when they come to visit us!!!
