Naomi's Day!

Since today was Naomi's actual birthday, we had some things planned for today. First we went to the zoo with Nicole and Caleb. Then we went to lunch at Red Robin. For our after dinner treat, we all sang to Naomi than ate cookie dough ice cream (no cake since Naomi won't eat cake). I think she had a fun day and we got her to say "I'm two." Here are some pictures of the fun we had.

Happy Birthday Naomi (3/30)!!

So her birthday is actually tomorrow, but I put it up a few hours early knowing I probably wouldn't get to it in time. I can't believe my baby is 2. Here are some pictures of her life up to the present.

Birthday Party!

So Naomi will be two on Monday. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. Well on Saturday we had a combined birthday party for Naomi and her friend Caleb (since their birthdays are close to each other). It was a beach/luau theme. I had a cute grass skirt for Naomi to wear, but she wouldn't let me get near her with it. She had a lot of fun. We had a few games (pineapple bowling, banana bean bag toss, duck pond, fish pond, and sandbox dig), the kids liked it. After games, we had hamburgers and hot dogs, then sang "Happy Birthday," ate cupcakes (but Naomi didn't ear hers, just the chocolate on top), and opened presents. Here are a few pictures from the party.

My Little Jumping Bean

Naomi loves to jump on the tramp, so here is a video of her doing what we call the "bum jump." (Jumping with her is one of her cousins from Utah.) Enjoy :)

On an Island in the Sun

It may not be an island, but we've been enjoying the sun. It was in the 80's and 90's all last week, so we went swimming a few times. Naomi loves playing in the water, but she is a little weary of getting all the way into the pool. I'm sure that will change by summertime.

My Creative Problem Solver

So today was a really hot day so we went swimming (just had to throw that in for those who are in Utah). Anyway, Naomi did not want to get out of the pool, and she had missed her nap so she threw the biggest fit I've seen...yet. After twenty minutes of trying to reason I set her in her playpen/bed and left her to cry until she calmed down. After two hours, she was quiet, so we thought she was sleeping. Twenty minutes later she comes walking into the living room. She hasn't ever really climbed out of her playpen before so we were curious. Cory went into the room to see how she could have gotten out and he found that she had pushed her blanket into the corner of the playpen and put her pillow on top. What a smart little girl. Sorry no pictures right, they'll be coming soon.

Adventures in Babysitting part 2

So this last week I took on another 5 day babysitting job. It was tough and fun. We watched two girls, one is 6 and the other is almost 3. Naomi had fun, but we are glad to be home. We did some fun things with the girls: decorate cupcakes, play outside (which happened everyday), and decorate foam princess crowns. Here are some pictures of our fun.

Anniversary Recap

So I know our anniversary was a week ago, but this is what we did. It was Cory's turn to plan, so he surprised me with a reservation for dinner at Brio (a tuscan grill). The food was good and the dessert was yummy. Then we walked around the outdoor mall, just talking and having fun. It may sound boring, but Cory's been working a lot so we just wanted to spend some good quality time together.

Our Third Anniversary

This is a quick overview of us before we met and our life together up to the present. I love you Cory! Happy Anniversary! (Not to confuse but our anniversary is March 2)
