Happy Thanksgiving!

I know Thanksgiving is tomorrow, but I doubt I will get on tomorrow and I want to post this before Thanksgiving. I've seen a lot of people write what they are thankful for and I feel that I should share what I am thankful for. First I am thankful for my husband and my baby girl. They support me in all I do and Naomi reminds us that we should really enjoy life. Second I am thankful for all of my family: siblings, parents, grandparents, and all my in-laws. We love you all. Third, I am thankful for our friends, both old and new. Our friends have helped us during tough times, so thank you. Fourth, I am thankful that Cory and I graduate in December. It has been a long, tough road, but we have finally made it. We are still waiting on jobs, but as soon as we get a job then that will be on this list too. Finally, I am thankful for the gospel and my testimony. I have definitely felt my Savior's love for me and have felt His hand in our life. Without this knowledge I would not be here today.

So before Thanksgiving is past us, sit down and think about what you are thankful for. It really puts you in the spirit of the holiday.

Naomi's Independence

Naomi is growing up way too fast. Her personality is really shining. She is pretty creative and smart. Her favorite food right now is pizza. She's been asking for pizza to eat and we decided that we'd get it for lunch. After I finished my piece, I decided I wanted some apple sauce. Naomi started asking for some too, so I tried giving her a spoonful but she wouldn't take it. It took me second to realize that she wanted the applesauce on her pizza. I hesitated, but Cory insisted that we should let her creative mind free, so I put some on her pizza and she ate it. After she took a bite, she'd ask for more. She ate a whole piece of pizza that way. It's funny the things kids want to do.

Also Naomi likes to line things up. Today she pulled all the DVD boxes off the shelf and lined them up side by side across the living room. I couldn't find my camera, but I'm sure she'll do it again and then I'll have a picture for you to see.

Playing in the Leaves

Halloween Fun

So I know I'm a little late in posting this, but it's better late than never. So Naomi was a cowgirl for Halloween, but I could not get her to wear the hat. So we spent Halloween with our friends. We first had dinner over at Brandon and Karen's. Naomi decided to take a nap during dinner. Finally around 6, we woke Naomi up so she could go trunk-or-treating with Caleb. After filling their bags with candy, we went and played games at Kelly and Joey's. Our last stop for the night was to Hope and Brett's. Naomi and Caleb were there only trick-or-treaters. We had a lot of fun!

More Halloween Activities

A couple weeks before Halloween, we went with some friends from our ward to Hee Haw Farms. The kids loved it. They had a petting zoo with farm animals, a hay ride, an animal train, slides, pony rides, and a hay trampoline. Here are some pictures.

Naomi loved the pigs. She kept saying hi to them.

Naomi just fell down on the hay trampoline.
I think this was her favorite thing to do.

Naomi liked sitting on the pony but when it started
moving she wanted off, but I was trying to keep her on.

This is us riding the animal train.
